I think it’s more important to note that no TF2 weapons are overpowered than it is to note that some are underpowered.
gunslinger
Okay look, it’s not my fault you don’t know how to unload two shotgun shells into a tiny gun and then shoot the guy running…
A) They’re not meant to kill you, they’re meant to distract you. Time spent killing the mini-sentry is time not spent killing anything else. And no engie worth anything would ever stand near enough to the mini to let you take them both out. The idea is to drop the mini, let them kill it while you go get ammo, then drop another. That way, you’re constantly fighting mini-sentries and taking chip damage. Even if all it does is force you to run for a healthpack, it’s a health pack that your teammates don’t get and that you have to waste time getting.
B) Minis still have enough knockback to throw off rocket-jumps, sticky-jumps, and double-jumps, messing up your landing and putting you in a position you didn’t anticipate or want.
C) It takes you two well-placed shots to kill a mini. It takes a soldier two rockets unless he directly-hits with a direct hit (hard to do when your aim is being bounced around by a rapid-fire weapon like a mini). It takes a Heavy 1-2 seconds of concentrated fire. It takes a pyro two shotgun shells assuming he’s lucky enough to be running one. It takes a Sniper 2 bullets or over a second of SMG fire (again, assuming he’s got an SMG) to kill it. That’s a lot of effort for something that cheap. (Stats assume no weapon spread).
D) In the unlikely (super-likely) event that the mini or engie kills someone, picking up that gun gives him enough metal for another mini.
The end result is that minis cost virtually nothing for the engie to place and are extremely annoying. And that’s leaving out the ACTUAL stats of the Gunslinger; +25 health and guaranteed 3rd hit crit. Minis by themselves may not be OP, but with those stats on the weapon, the Gunslinger itself is definitely OP.

The hell happened to this?
Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t excited for it or anything but… what happened? There were actually some possible cool applications for that…
You must have a better imagination than I do because I can’t think of any. Other than making sure gramma doesn’t die while playing the Wii
Monitoring your heartrate to make Horror games more horrifying. Not sure about specifics, but your heart rate gets faster when you’re scared, so a heart rate monitor would probably be a boon to a horror game.

Jake doesn’t have brain damage.
Nepeta doesn’t have anything because she’s DEAD!

I’ve always wanted to do a giveaway, and now that AskMLCBlobs has hit 19,000 followers, AND it’s close to the holidays, I thought it would be a great time to do so!! :D
SO, Like the photo set explains, there will be only ONE winner in this! Why? Because one winner is a lot easier to manage than multiple, plus, it’s more intense that way ( HAHAHAHA! )
The giveaway ends January 1st, 2013! GOOD LUCK!!!!
Let’s give this a shot, see what happens.

I like to think of life like it’s a big MMORPG, with patch notes and abilities and passives.
Where the Christ days were Vanilla, and the Witch Trials happened when Patch 3.0 removed Magic from the game and replaced it with Technology.
I don’t really believe this, no, it’s just fun. Maybe it’s…
Reblogging because not enough characters.
Faith: So long as you believe in God, he believes in you. +2 LUCK when following the god of your choice, -2 when you lose your faith. (right now I’ve got the -2 :( )
Jacked In: You spend your life on the Internet. You must spend at least 4 hours a day browsing the internet, or you start jonesing for a fix (counts as a MAJOR DISTRACTION). You gain access to MEMES while in social situations.
Depression: Due to excessive trauma, bad genetics, or just being unlucky, you’ve contracted DEPRESSION. Except for two weeks every two months, you can no longer care about anything. Ever. However, you do get a +2 to cynicism. This removes the persistent bonuses from Fire In Your Heart (though not the penalties).
Fire In Your Heart: You’re filled with anger. Sometimes this takes the form of passion, sometimes it’s righteous fury, and sometimes it’s just rage. You are constantly PISSED, and mustRAGE at least once every month, though you are able to RAGE once per day if you choose.
OKAY TUMBLR. IT’S TIME TO SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL.
